I understand some of the criticisms of this book. I'm all for normalizing sobriety and celibacy in adults for non-religious reasons.and it's way more common than people think.Īnd while I read my fair share of spicyyyyy books, I find that very often abstinence between a couple (for whatever reason) really ADDS to the romance factor for me, both in building a real relationship between them (which personally adds SO MUCH to it for my little demi-sexual heart!) and in building the physical longing and suspense, which I also think is waaaaay under-rated. ![]()
